SOAR Round #3

Weekend of July 11 and 12 we were supposed to follow the HotLaps and Golo crew out for a track day at Mirabel. Didn’t happen. Instead we attended the 3rd round of SOAR. I wasn’t up for riding considering the suspension and clearance issues I’ve been having with the bike. Not to mention Johnny made his opinion on the matter clear and said if you break it I’m not fixing it. Foot down, matter resolved! He sure road, and well for that matter.

The Turn2 crew came out to support Johnny in his effort and helped tremendously. Another shout out to “Panzo” from Pro6.

We plan to be back for Round #4 and this time both of us will be riding.

I made it into Inside Motorcycle magazine

First page of the article

My friend Mau sent me an email yesterday congratulating my celebrity status and that I made it into another magazine article. I wasn’t quite sure what he was talking about as I haven’t been interviewed for any articles recently.   Turns out there is a half page picture of me on the track accompanying an [...]

Whitey got dynoed!

Went to Pro6 yesterday to pick up Whitey.  The bike did good on the dyno and the switch works just fine.  Afterwards we installed the bodywork.  Every thing fit good, except I still wasn’t happy with how close the fender was to the tire.  So off it goes for more modification.

Whitey’s back and a little different

John managed to get a 2″ drop on the bike!  I sat on the bike and could actually touch the ground with both feet, it was such an unreal and yet amazing feeling!  I didn’t want to get off the bike.  Now I really can’t wait to get on that bike and ride it.  I [...]

White goes out for suspension work

We took the bikes up to John Sharrard of Accelerated Technologies.  Whitey’s suspension is going to get set up for me as well we’re hoping John can lower the bike maybe an inch or so.  I’m not sure how much height he can take off the bike without having significant effect on the bike’s handling etc, but [...]

Time to get new gear

What girl doesn’t love shopping? I have’t really been completely happy with my Dainese M4 suit.  I originally got the 2 piece because I wanted the added flexibility of being able to wear it at a track day or out on the streets.  Since I no longer ride on the street, that’s now a moot [...]
